About Renée Jennings
Renée Jennings is a graduate of the Gestalt Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, where she specialized in Physical Process. Renee maintains clinical membership in the U.S. Association for Body Psychotherapy and continues to train and study with leaders in the fields of body psychotherapy and Gestalt. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is a full member of the EMDR International Association. Before obtaining her graduate degree in Social Work (clinical) and her independent license, Renée earned a graduate degree in Theological Studies. During this time, Renée explored various spiritual paths and began studying and practicing meditation. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Renée's interest in the nature of the soul and the intrinsic connection between body and mind led her into the field of psychotherapy. She has worked in a variety of settings since 2000, including nonprofit agencies where she worked with low-income families and survivors of domestic violence. Renée has been in private practice for a number of years and works in the Cleveland area.
